Wrap the tape around the spot where the waistband will sit (natural waist or low-rise), keeping it level and comfortably snug — not digging in.

Hip

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape straight all the way around.

Length

For pants and joggers, measure from the top of the waistband down the outside of the leg to the hem. For shorts and skorts, measure from the waistband straight down to the bottom edge.
